The workshop offers a great opportunity to meet experienced startup founders from LMU. It invites professors, postdoctoral researchers, and advanced doctoral candidates who are interested in starting a business.
The entrepreneurs and researchers, including Milan P. Allan (Alqem.ai), Philipp Baaske (LMU), Susanna Hofmann (LMU), Gitta Kutyniok (Ecologic Computing), Hector Andrade Loarca (AngioWave), Matthias Leistner (LMU), Katharina Sahiri (Cancelight) and Lalith Kumar Shiyam Sundar (Zenta), deliver concise pitch talks, sharing their personal experiences and key insights from launching their own startups, and offering perspectives on critical success factors, legal frameworks, and the entrepreneurial challenges involved in founding and growing a startup.
The event is part of the CAS Research Focus “Next Generation AI” and is organized in cooperation with AI-HUB@LMU.

The Center for Advanced Studies at LMU provides a forum for scientific exchange and discussion that bridges the divide between the established disciplines.
